Quality Control: We always prioritize quality control to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our test results. The department participates in various quality control programs conducted by CMC Vellore for Biochemistry, Hematology, IAMM for Microbiology, Molecular biology and Immunology, Blood Centre (formerly blood bank) participates in AIIMS quality control program, and Histopathology participate TMC quality control program.   Our skilled technicians use internationally acclaimed Vaccutainer systems for blood sample collection, and we participate in national and international quality control programs to monitor and maintain the highest quality standards in our laboratory operations.

Advanced Technology: Our department is equipped with high throughput advanced technology automated equipments, including XN-550 Transasia, VES-MATIC CUBE 30, IRIS ichem,iQ 200 fully automated Urine analyzer with chemistry as well as Microscopy, Roche U 411 Urine Analyzer, Cobas C-311Biochemistry analyzer, Cobas b221 blood gas analyzer, Easylyte electrolyte analyzer, Electrophoretic equipments, HPLC for Hemoglobinopathies, our microbiology and molecular biology equipped with wide range of fully automated analyzers like Bactec FX40, Pheonix M 50, fluorescent microscopy, Q PCR, CEPHID for genExpert, immunoassay using automated analyzer Architect Plus- CLIA, Protein analyser, Nephelomtery, ELISA  Cytology, FNAC, Surgical pathology, immunohistochemistry Frozen section and more. Technology We Use:

Automated Equipment: We utilize fully automated equipment for various diagnostic tests, including fully automated Biochemistry analyzers, blood gas analysis, electrolyte analysis, chromatography HPLC, spectrophotometry, Protein electrophoresis, and more.

Molecular Biology: Our department offers molecular biology services, including PCR and Real-Time PCR techniques for the detection of viral loads and genetic mutations associated with diseases such as HIV, HBV, HCV, tuberculosis, Covid-19 RT PCR, Herpes simplex, Dengue, Chikungunya, HLA-B27 and many more. Genexpert for TB, XDR TB, HCV etc.

Immunology: We employ immuno-fluorescent techniques and automated systems for antibody/antigen testing, cancer markers, hormones, cardiac markers, and other diagnostic analytes. Protein analysis by Immunoturbidimetry/ nephelometery, FIA etc. We continuously update our test menu to improve disease diagnosis and patient care. We are one the oldest centre provides HLA tissue cross match facility for transplant programs.
