We operate 24×7, ensuring continuous availability of blood products for patient care.

Our Services:

Blood Donation Centre: We operate a blood donation centre where voluntary and replacement donors can donate blood after thorough counseling and screening. Our facilities include state-of-the-art blood donor couches and collection equipment.

Blood Component Production/Section: Our designated blood component centre produces various blood components, including leuco-reduced packed RBCs, cryoprecipitate, fresh frozen plasma, and platelet concentrate, utilizing fully automated equipment and ensuring aseptic conditions.

Immuno-Hematology Labs: Our immuno-hematology labs conduct routine and special investigations using gel technology, including blood grouping, cross-matching, and direct and indirect Coombs testing.

Apheresis Lab: Our advanced apheresis lab conducts selective blood component collection procedures, including platelet and plasma collection, using advanced cell separators for improved safety and quality.

Blood Safety: We ensure blood safety through rigorous screening protocols, including testing for HIV, hepatitis, malaria, and syphilis using advanced ELISA techniques.

Salient Features of CHRC Blood Centre

Stringent Predonation Screening: Donation are accepted only after the rigorous screening of Medical and risk behavior.

Blood donor with Hb more than 12.5 gm/dl are only accepted.

Automated Blood Collection Monitor: We collect up to 450 ml of blood which translates into 30% more red cells active protein & platelets with proper mixing.

Four-Hour Protocol:  Each unit is processed within 4 to 6 hours of collection. This ensures maximum efficiency of components, additive solution the Vitality Enhance SAGM is the red cell preservative solution in all blood bags which exchanges the self-life of red cells to 42 days, making them free flowing and far superior to whole blood & packed cells, the low-level citrate level prevent the loss of calcium

100% Component Never Whole Blood: 100% component leads to tailor made therapy for patients. Whole blood die and clotting factors disintegrate.

Blood Safety: All blood units are tested with 4th generation ELISA thereby decreasing the window period of transmission of TTDs. No Pooling done and no short cuts taken.
