Courses Offered:

DMLT Course (Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology):

Duration: Two years

MPT (Master of Physiotherapy):

Offered in Orthopedics, Neurology, Cardio-pulmonary, and Sports streams.

Duration: As per MPMSU norms

Curriculum: Includes faculty-directed classes, self-directed learning, seminars, journal clubs, case presentations, clinical work, undergraduate teaching assignments, and a thesis/dissertation.

BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy):

Duration: Four and a half years including a six-month internship.

Curriculum: Covers manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and application of electro physical modalities.

Work Profile: Prevention, restoration, and rehabilitation.

Dialysis Technician Course:

Duration: Two years

O.T. Technician Course (Operation Theater Technician Course):

Duration: One year

Internship:

Six months (180 days) of compulsory rotatory internship in various areas of specialty is part of the B.P.T curriculum. Choithram hospital has facilities for internships in all areas.

Choithram College of Paramedical Sciences accepts students from other colleges, including other countries, for whole/part of the internship program.
