At Choithram Hospital & Research Centre Casualty/Emergency Room, we pride ourselves on our advanced infrastructure, equipped with cutting-edge technology and the latest medical instruments. Our dedicated team of experienced nursing staff and skilled critical care doctors ensures prompt and efficient care for every patient.

Upon arrival at the Casualty from either the OPD or external sources, patients undergo initial assessment within a mere 3 minutes. If the case requires Medicolegal Certification (MLC), the patient’s attendant is directed to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) for further proceedings, while other patients are swiftly registered.

Following primary evaluation, patients receive immediate treatment as necessary. Simultaneously, the attending consultant is promptly informed and summoned to the Casualty.

For patients requiring admission, attendants are guided to the CMO counter for the admission process. Upon completion of admission formalities, patients are admitted accordingly, with Inpatient Department (IPD) details generated as appropriate.

Patients admitted but not yet allocated an IPD are promptly transferred to the relevant department (Ward/Pvt/Gen/ICU/OT, etc.) for further care and management.
