Technical Skills  

  1. Treatment and counseling of patients receiving systemic therapies for solid and hematological malignancies: Chemotherapy, Hormonal therapies, biological therapies, Targeted Therapy, Immunotherapy.  

  2. Prescribe and administer Chemotherapy, biological therapy, Immunotherapy, Targeted therapy.  

  3. Diagnose and manage side effects of anti-cancer treatments.  

  4. Perform central line insertion, PICC line insertion, Bone Marrow aspiration and biopsy, lumbar puncture and intrathecal drug administration.  

  5. Perform image-guided tru-cut biopsies, FNAC, pleural and peritoneal paracentesis.  

  6. Diagnose and manage medical and oncological emergencies.

  7. Autologous stem-cell transplant for Hodgkin’s lymphoma, Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, Multiple Myeloma. 

  8. Induction and consolidation chemotherapies for ALL/AML.  

  9. Management of malignancies in patients with HIV/AIDS.  

  10. Participate and contribute in a Multidisciplinary clinic.

A. Served as the Chairperson for 51st Annual National Conference of Indian Dietetic Association, IDACON 2019

B. Serving as Academic Counselor for IGNOU since 2018 

C.Served as President of Indian Dietetic Association, Indore Chapter 

Awards and Achievements 

  1. Won the J.N. Bose Memorial Award in Annual Convention of IDA held at AIIMS, held in New Delhi.
  2. Won the J.N. Bose Memorial Award in Annual Convention of IDA held in Vadodara.
  3. Served as the Chairperson for 51st Annual National Conference of Indian Dietetic Association, IDACON 2019.
  4. Designed the B.Voc. Nutrition & Dietetics course for Deen Dayal Upadhyay Kaushal Vikas Kendra, DAVV, Indore

  1. Total Experience as a Clinical Nutritionist: 30 years.

  2. Presented a paper on “Observation of feeding practices & impact of dietary protein on biochemical status of malnourished children” at the 28th Annual National Conference of IDA.

  3. Presented a paper on “Effect of operative delivery on newborn feeding practices” at the 32nd Annual National Conference of IDA.

  4.  Presented a paper on “Effect of intervention on newborn feeding practices” at the 33rd Annual National Conference of IDA.

  5.  Presented on “Feeding practices in 1-5 years old children” at Annual National Conference of Indian Dietetics Association at Delhi in 2014.

  6.  Paper published on “Is colostrum thrown by an Indian mother?” in the Indian Pediatrics Journal 1999
