Dr. Sumit Kumar Singh has completed his Bachelors of Medicine and Bachelors of Surgery (MBBS) in 2009 and MD in Pediatrics from King George’s Medical University, Lucknow in 2013. He then completed his Post-Doctoral certificate course (PDCC), Pediatric Gastroenterology in 2014 and Doctorate of Medicine (DM) in Pediatric Gastroenterology from Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow in year 2017.
Technical Skills
1. Neonatal and Pediatric endoscopic procedures:
a. Diagnostic and Therapeutic upper gastrointestinal endoscopy: Variceal band ligation, endoscopic sclerotherapy and glue injection in varices, foreign body like coin, battery, screw, Pins etc. removal
b. Diagnostic Colonoscopy in children with colitis, blood in stool, inflammatory bowel disease, eosinophilic colitis etc.
c. Endoscopic polypectomy in children with colonic polyps
d. Endoscopic dilatation of oesophagal stricture due to corrosive ingestion or post TEF repair, pyloric stricture
