Dr. Apurva Garg completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in the Year 2008 and Master of Surgery in Otorhinolaryngology in 2011 from M.G.M Medical College, Indore. As part of his super-speciality training in Head & Neck Oncosurgery he did fellowship from the world-renowned Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai.

He is a fellow of the prestigious American College of Surgeons and Global Fellow in Head & Neck Surgery and Oncology from IFHNOS-MSKCC (USA). Dr. Garg is member of the American Head Neck Society, American Society of Clinical Oncology, Korean Society for Otolaryngology and Head Neck Surgery, Asia Pacific Thyroid Society, Foundation of Head Neck Oncology, Assoc. of Otolaryngologists of India, etc.

Work Experience

He has super-speciality in the field of Head & Neck Oncosurgery from the last 10 years. He is presently working as consultant Head & Neck Onco-Surgeon at Choithram Hospital and Research Center Indore and is an ex-consultant at Narayana Cancer Institute Kolkata. He works closely with various medical and dental societies in training physicians, ENT, General and Dental Surgeons in diagnosing and treating Head and Neck malignancies. He is a patron of Voice of Tobacco Victims (VoTV) India, Sambandh Health foundation and is closely associated with enforcement of anti-tobacco laws in various educational institutes and states across India.

Publications

He has over 20 publications in international and national peer reviewed journals and has contributed as an author to various international textbooks in this field. He has over 40 invited lectures and paper presentations in various national and international conferences.
