A vascular intervention and angioembolisation facility is also available within the hospital premises

Limb Lengthening and Deformity Correction with Ilizarov Method

The department has been at the forefront for many years in using the Ilizarov technique for limb reconstruction. Specialized services offered include management of infected non-unions, limb lengthening, complex deformity correction, management of bone defects resulting from trauma or tumour resection. Some of the pioneering work from the department has been in the field of non-unions, tumour reconstruction, deformity correction, amputation stump lengthening, and limb lengthening in short stature dwarfism.

Orthopaedic Oncology including Limb Salvage Surgery

The department treats over 200 cases of orthopaedic neoplasms annually. These include both benign and malignant bone tumours.
